The joy and anticipation of the fall.

The seasons are beginning to change, move toward the busy season for us.  And this is the time of year we love.  Cooler weather, fall foliage, thoughts of gift buying and the smells of the fall line of soaps….pumpkin spice, Apple jack and peel, and so many of the Christmas fragrances.

Our home is bustling with drying silk, and curing soap, sore hands from my flurry of crocheting, and an anticipation of some of our favorite events.

What’s coming up?

Tremont art and culture festival:  Saturday, Sept 15 11a to 6p in Lincoln Park, located at West 14 and Statkweather Ave. In Tremont, Cleveland’s south side neighborhood.  We are one of almost 100 juries artists in the show.  But there is so much more…Kids Village offers activities, strolling storyteller/historic reenactors, and puppets.  The food village offers wonderful fare from local restaurants and churches.  Entertainment thrives with a main stage and street performers.  Jam out to world music…whether a Greek band, Jamaican regaee, or the first song….always Neil Diamond in honor of Gail Long, retired director of Merrick House.

We have history of being a part of every of the 14 years whether as tremont staff assisting with setup or these last 3 years as an artist vendor.  The TACF has a feel all its own.  Come visit us.
