The Log Cabin Gallery fall show opens

It would not be fall without a visit to the Log Cabin Gallery in Peninsula, located behind the house on 1671 Main Street.  Its an authentic old log cabin that was rescued from the wrecking ball in the Carolinas years ago and moved , then lovingly rebuilt on the high bluffs overlooking the Cuyahoga River in the gallery owner’s back yard.

This seasonal gallery is titled “Splash of Color” which pays homage to the changing fall colors, and this year the bittersweet homegoing of the gallery owner’s mom, Lucille Seskes, who was a brilliant quilter.

I am delighted to tell you that several pieces of my silk, along with a number of silk cocoon earrings in both a silver and copper finish have made their way to the cabin for the opening today.  This edition of the log cabin gallery runs from September 22 – October 22, with hours of 11a-5p Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The special event is tomorrow, Saturday sept 23 – featuring Music on the Porches.  Hope you can visit.
