Silk – such a lovely, luxurious fabric that comes from such a humble little worm. Over the years i have practiced various different techniques related to silk.
As a child i was fascinated with tie dye, but i did not know what i was doing. But the interest was there. Time has flown and I have experimented and learned so much. Of late my work has returned to French Resist or Serti method – involving drawing images on silk with resist, then painting them. I have had an obcession with flowers, and summer themes…. and i hope you love them too:
