My house smells like honeysuckle, and soft pine, and lavender…. My husband has been busy making batches of soap. The fragrance fills the air.
It is a wonderful time when my husband appears from the basement with a tray of freshly sliced soap bars… because the senses are immediately engaged… The fragrance, the color, the texture.
And soap means packaging… packaging is my department. We looked at a number of soap package possibilities, and opted to simply wrap the soap in wax paper, and put a paper label on like a band. The wax paper keeps the soap fresher by preventing it from drying out. So I am off to wrap 40 big bars and 24 mini bars of soap this morning.
