What is one question you hate to be asked? Explain.
Doesn’t bother me as much anymore but when I was in my 30s that question drove me crazy. Steve and I always thought we would have a few children, but it never happened, and now in our mid 60s I don’t foresee it happening.
Society is odd in that there seems to be an unspoken thought that if you don’t have kids you are selfish, or unreasonable. Never was there a consideration that it could be medical. Nor did anyone consider that our budget was always tight, with no thought of expensive medical intervention to change our situation. And that ruled out adoption because we didn’t have the money to pay for that either.
