Negative thoughts

What strategies do you use to cope with negative feelings?

I don’t think we can live a moment in this nation without some pretty negative thoughts, right?

First thing I do is turn off all the media. Stop the flow of news that triggers negative thoughts

Turn to something that brings joy- head to the kitchen to whip up some amazing food, or into the garden to pick weeds and work on gardening.

Talk with a friend. Sometimes the ear of a trusted friend might help sound out those thoughts

Get a good night of sleep. Often the break of dawn brings fresh hope and a new outlook.
