Saturday was a lovely day for a drive… and we did just that, driving to Akron for the Crafty Mart Summer Faire at Musica. Located just a block from the Akron Art Museum, this complex of restaurants and music venues proved to be a nice spot for a small art fair. We set up quickly, discovering we knew a half dozen other artists, which is always a bonus. The day went well… at one point we were sung to by a musician on the balcony high atop the restaurant. And there was that sign that beckoned us in to buy”Gelato”. Who can pass that up on a hot summer day?
bronze cast pieces.
The yarn bomb project – plan was to attach these “eye of god” pieces to a chain link fence somewhere there in Akron.
Cool Platz was our next door neighbor.
Gelato!!!
not the smartest idea… coco butter massage bars that melt at 76 degrees…. it was looking more like butterscotch pudding by the end of the fest because it was in the high 80s all day.
