Once in a while a customer makes a suggestion for a soap scent profile that turns out to be amazing. It was an inspiration to blend Black Amber with Vanilla. Black Amber as a scent is very exotic – a blend of incense fragrances and a note of spice.

We applied only to a few big art festivals this year, and then wait until the jury makes a decision if we are a fit for their event. One event we have done since 2012 is a labor day weekend event at Hale Farm and village in Bath, Ohio. Hale is a reconstructed 18th century midwestern villiage, with historic interpreters, and artisans working in the manner common to that age. Its also a working farm, with a plethora of animals and the farm is run by the Western Reserve Historic Society. For the labor day weekend it transforms into 150 artist tents throughout the grounds as well as food and music. Made in Ohio Art Festival is the name. And it is just a wonderful experience.
