Soap, Silk and so much more
Join us for a cold processed soap-making class at the Cleveland Twist Drill on Lakeside Avenue. For $45, you’ll learn about ingredients, equipment, and safety, make soap, and receive six finished bars and a informative booklet. Classes are limited to four participants on February 28 and March 14 from 10 AM to 2 PM.
The Serti method of silk painting involves outlining designs with gutta resist on white silk before adding colors. The silk is stretched on a frame during painting, applying colors one at a time. After completion, it is steamed to set the colors and fuse the resist, creating a durable final product.
