Saying Goodbye to our studio buddy

Friday evening our sweet Daisy dog passed away right on the driveway. Unexpected, she asked to go outside so i joined her, sat on the porch steps while i watched her walk the perimeter of the back yard, She came up the drive, and was heading for the front yard. I tapped her on a hip and offered a snack to distract her. She turned around, fell over like a box of rocks, let out a little whimper and she was gone.

We had her for 15 years, and saw through the puppy time when she chewed shoes and leather books, and almost anything. Then she grew up and was a wonderful watchdog, studio assistant, work assistant, companion and friend. She loved and asked for table scraps. She absolutely loved tomato sauce, spaghetti noodles, and chicken soup. Dont forget ice cream, and sweets. My last memory of her was giving her a chewy carmel. She chewed and chewed, and it looked like the carmel was stuck to the roof of her mouth, but she found a way to devour it. Over the years she has traveled with us and went on adventures with us.

So we say goodbye to our sweet pup. Our hearts are heavy, but we knew this day would come.
