What makes me laugh?
That’s a great question. I love when situations seem crazy, and all you can do is step back and laugh at yourself for taking things so seriously. I love when friends share bad dad jokes that are corney, but they beckon us back to a simpler age. I love to watch my cats and dog because they sometimes offer unexpected humor.
Laughter is so important. We have to take the effort to see things that are amusing, and to offer whit and wisdom that brings a grin to family and friends. The bible says a lot about humor, and laughter:
“A merry heart does good like a medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones” – Proverbs 17:22
“A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance; But by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.” Proverbs 15:13
