Lots of learning opportunities

Winter is a great time to take a workshop, or participate in a play day, or learn something new. We love to keep on experimenting, growing and increasing our knowledge, and we think you might like that too.

Here are the fun things planned in our studio:

• Cold Processed Soap Making Workshop – Learn the basics of making soap, the science behind it, and a discussion on essential oil, ingredients used in our soap, every step. You will go home with 6 bars of soap, which you can put your own label on. The date is Saturday February 22 from 9a-Noon
• Silk Play Days – Three dates are planned for a silk painting workshop. The class runs from 10a-4p with a break for lunch which i provide. Dates scheduled are Saturday March 1, 8 and 15. At the end of the play day you will be able to wear your scarf home.
• Ukranian Easter Egg Workshop – Two dates are planned to learn how to paint ukranian easter eggs. the process involves using a stylus with wax that is heated on the open flame of a candle. The process of applying wax, then dipping the egg in a color, repeating the process until your design is done. Dates are Saturdays March 22 and 29th
