Eating to reduce inflammation

What is the last thing you learned?

Wow, I’m always learning! But the last thing I learned was what foods I can eat that are anti inflammatory.

So much of the food in our diet has ingredients that stimulate inflammation which is not healthy and can be very painful. To be honest I never paid attention to the subject until I got older and discovered rings were tight, and joints ache.

So what foods reduce inflammation?

  • Ginger
  • Tart cherries
  • Blueberries
  • Green tea
  • Turmeric
  • Beets
  • Wild caught salmon- this one is tough to find because the fish industry has gone to farm raising the fish. That’s for another blog!
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Red peppers
  • Tomatos
  • Broccoli
  • Nuts
  • Apples
  • Bone broth
  • Rosemary

I’m sure there are a ton more foods that can help with this issue. But I love learning this and have already added some of these ingredients into my diet.
