Our week ahead

As everyone turns their focus on preparing for Thanksgiving dinner, getting the house spic and span, and finding those wonderful recipes that get dusted off and put to use once a year, we are busy with a ton of things to get done.  Here is a little glimpse of our week ahead:

Monday through Wednesday

Production time…. we have a number of batches of soap that need to be wrapped and labeled.  I am making shave soap boxes for the three batches of shave soap.  We love the handcrafted feel of our products, but it is at times like this that there is a crunch to get it together.  I will also be finishing a  batch of silk, and a dozen more wire crochet pins.

Thursday –

Is Thanksgiving.  This year we were invited out for dinner, and it feels wierd that I dont have a big turkey thawing, and all the prep in process.  But it is a nice change to not have the weight of prep for the holiday to go.  We are looking forward to enjoying our time with good friends, and relaxing and catching up.

Friday / Saturday-

Black friday is upon us, and we will be heading to the Pop Up Shop for the afternoon and evening.  The pop up shop is located on Chagrin Blvd at Brainard in the former Max Wellness Building.  There are a lot of wonderful gift ideas there… from ceramics and jewelry to clothing and serving pieces.  We are there friday and saturday.    Saturday afternoon we pack up and move our display to the studios of Prosperity Jewelry.

And here we are Sunday at Prosperity Jewelry’s Annual Sale and Party.  Great Food, Great Music, Lovely Art, and fun people…. We hop you can stop out and have a nice time with us.  We dont know what we are bringing yet, but it is going to be finger food…. something scrumptuous i am sure.    The gals of Prosperity make the most amazing fused glass jewelry pieces… truely lovely work.  And they are just a hoot to hang out with.   Sunday when the show ends we pack up and move to Lakeland Community College.

Lakeland

Monday, Dec 1 and Tuesday, Dec 2 – we are at Lakeland for the two day Artist Market.  Mary Urbas, the gallery coordinator of Lakeland curates a wonderful selection of artists and work… suitable for holiday shopping.  This will be our 5th year there, with a wonderful following of customers.  We look forward to that two day stretch.
