So much news

Here we are on December 12th, and the holidays are coming quickly. I have not written a post in some time, and wanted to just bring updates on what is happening with Images in Bloom Studios.

As you may or may not know the building that our studio is in, Artcraft, was sold, and we have learned it will become the new police headquarters for the city of Cleveland. So we have to vacate the building by March 31, 2023. So we have been looking for a new studio home. We like the area downtown known as the superior arts district however unfortunately as it may be, the mortgage company that moved in a few blocks away is gobbling up the buildings and chasing the artists out. As of the time of this post we have some solid leads, and a few appointments to look at spaces.

We have just finished a marathon 6 weeks of shows, all such fun, and it was awesome to chat with all of you at those endeavors. We started in November with a sweet little nature and art show at the Wolf Creek Nature Center in Wadsworth. Then on to Oberlin the Saturday after thanksgiving for the “Oh What Fun it is to Shop Small” Sale, One of the highlights was the 34th Artcraft Holiday sale, relocated to the Twist Drill building at East 49th and Lakeside. And this past weekend we were in a tent in Hudson for a traditional german christmas market known as Chriskindlmarkt. Every event has been such fun… we really enjoy seeing and talking with our customers, friends, and supporters.

There were some requests for a silk play date, so i sat down with the calendar and came up with a few FINAL dates at the Artcraft. We will have to see how the move goes before setting up future dates in the new location. I am also needing to raise the price after the move, as my supply cost has risen.
