Countdown to Tremont
Yes, the calander is clicking away, and with this labor day we unofficially mark the end of the majority of summer, and a return to cooler temperatures, and the fall season. And that also means less than 2 weeks to the Tremont Art and Culture Festival. We are busy getting our art and products ready for this festival, which kicks off a busy fall season for Images In Bloom.
And my house smells yummy with multiple batches of soap drying and awaiting packaging. Pumpkin Spice, Cinnamon Bun, Oatmeal and Honey are just a few of the fall fragranced soaps. Macintosh apple soap turned out amazing, red soap with a green vein, like a leaf. Smells like fall around here.
Now the plan is to process the half dozen silk scarves I finished, and put a few finishing touches on the wire crochet pieces I have been working on this weekend. Here is one of my latest:
So if i have not invited you, Tremont Art and Culture Festival is Saturday Sept 17 and Sunday, Sept 18 in Lincoln Park. I hope you can visit… great entertainment both days, fabulous food, and over 100 artists bringing all kinds of amazing things to the market that is Tremont. You will make my day if you stop and say hi!
