Interest is growing

One of my dreams is to develop a small cottage industry that will bring in some income for women who are underemployed or are not currently working but have skills and talents at crocheting.  I have been working hard on writing a grant proposal for funding to bring on 2-3 people who will actually crochet the ReBlooming Bags for me.  I am hopeful to get the final part of the process completed soon, and submitted.

One of the neatest new ways to source funding is something called crowd funding.  In case you have not heard of this, i have copied a bit of the description from wikipedia:

Crowd funding or crowdfunding (alternately crowd financing, equity crowdfunding or hyper funding) describes the collective effort of individuals who network and pool their resources, usually via the Internet, to support efforts initiated by other people or organizations.[1] Crowd funding is used in support of a wide variety of activities, including disaster relief, citizen journalism, support of artists by fans, political campaigns, startup company funding,[2] movie[3] or free software development, and scientific research.[4]

With the power of the internet, social media and the wonders of our technological age there are sights that will accept proposals and publish the request, pending crowd response of funding.  You name it and it has been financed there… art projects, movies, technology advancements.  So the plan is to have this video done, and have everything posted before the end of the month.  I am hopeful that with some publicity this project will fund, and i can hire these women, provide them with a dignified means of earning money, as well as increase production levels of Reblooming bags for the fall and holiday season.  Stay tuned for future developments.
