Lovely trunk show

Last night Steve and I packed up our vehicle and pointed it to BayArts for a very special trunk show featuring the work of 6 artists….. From the beautiful torch enamel work of Lori Paximates, to the beautiful ceramic Christmas ornaments, and unusual Christmas tabletop vinyettes done with vintage tea cups, serving pieces and whimsical inspiration.  Music and a festive atmosphere filled the air, and ofcourse we brought our soap, and scrubs.

We were in the fuller house, a beautifully restored victorian home now used for gallery and special event space.  The holiday lighting on the outside of the building set the tone… simple elegance.

The fuller house is in the center of the picture, in pale shades of blue. BayArts shop and gallery is the right building. Also on their campus is a restaurant, which is trailing off the left side of the photo and is a former train depot.

We rolled out two new scrubs in holiday fragrances:

  • Noel – Rich oils and essential oils blend with certified Dead Sea Salt in a vibrant Christmas fragrance of Classic pine with notes of clove, orange and vanilla.
  • Gift of the Magi – Rich oils and essential oils blend with certified Dead Sea Salt in a classic eastern blend of frankincense, myrrh, patchouli and warm powdery sandalwood.  These were the gifts the magi brought, gifts of wealth, and health.

Both were a popular choice, which we sold out quickly.  I had posted several pictures to facebook and received a number of requests for me to put the products up on etsy…. so this weekend I will be updating etsy extensively…

What can i say… we love the relationship we have with the art world, and the niche we have at lovely places like BayArts.  Soap and Scrubs are a favorite, affordable handcrafted gift, and it seems that everyone loves that idea.  Evenings like this, spent in the company of other wildly creative minds generates a buzz, energy…. and it is such a privilege to be a part of.
