Devonshire Tea
For the past three years we have been invited to be art vendors for an event that is a step back in time. A smaller church in Berea (St Thomas Episcopal) holds two seatings of Victorian High Tea… including the harp player, finger sandwiches and the many women bedecked in their Victorian best… beautiful hats, lovely reproduction victorian dresses, and such style. If you are looking for something unique to attend with your daughter, mother, or gal pal, this might be one to shake off the winter blues, and bring some celebration to your day.
The church is located directly across from Baldwin Wallace’s campus library, with ample parking behind the church. You dont have to rock it out with victorian finery… Only about 1/3 of the attendees dress to the period. But come out, enjoy tea, harp music, doormen dressed in their finest tuxedos, and a little time of shopping our artisan market. We will have a full line of our soap and scrubs, hand dyed silk, and wire crochet available. And I know several other artists will have beautiful things available too. Or just come for the artisan market!!! But between you and me, their scones and little finger sandwiches are quite the special experience!!!
