Adventurous June is upon us

Every day is an adventure… but June holds a few new venues, and lots of promise.  Here is what is coming:

Little Italy is a part of Cleveland we have not engaged.  We have some lovely clients in the neighborhood and look forward to seeing them during the event.  The Art Fair is Saturday and Sunday only, with the Art Walk all weekend.  We learned that our location is just next to Corbo’s Bakery on Mayfield and that seems to be a great spot.

The following Saturday, June 13th we head to Bay Village and the Bay Arts Festival.  Bay Village will be hopping with multiple events tied together (including Cahoon in June, a premier Antique and Shabby Chic market which will have artists as well, and some shuttle bus activity between venues.)  Bay Arts always offers music, and food, and amazing artists.  We love this place, and we get a beautiful park like setting overlooking Huntington Beach and the Lake.  Great Location, Lovely People, Wonderful Art!  Who could ask for more!

Friday, June 19th we return to 78th Street Studios and specifically the studio of Jeff Dube and Allen Kradlak (203) for an evening of fun, art and a wonderful group of people.

Sunday, June 21st we have been invited back to the Shaker Heights Historical Society Garden Fair, held in conjunction with the annual Garden Tour.  We will be set up in the sprawling front lawn of the Historical Society located at 16740 S Park Blvd in Shaker Heights.  The Garden Fair is only one of the many amazing things the SHHS has planned for that weekend.  We will be there from Noon to 5pm

Another new, and very exciting new venue for us is Crosby Garden (Toledo Botanical Garden) for Festival of the Arts.  Set against a beautifully landscaped botanical garden will be the tents of over 200 artists.  This event is a very prestigious one, and very difficult to get into.  We are grateful and thankful to have this opportunity.  We have a sizable client base in the Detroit Area, which makes this a nice one tank trip.  Its not so far from Cleveland either.  High hopes for wonderful weather , great art, lovely music and lots of new opportunities to meet people.

As we finish out June we will be bringing our soaps, and silk, and soft sculpture necklaces to two galleries in Peninsula.  The Log Cabin Gallery will be reopening with the summer show titled “At the Waters Edge”.  I am working on some water themed works.  Diane has requested a return of the soft sculptured fiber necklaces, and our soap will be water oriented… fragrant scents like Beach House, and Coconut Mango.  Developing some ideas for brooches but that needs more development.  All said, it will be a fun and exciting June. We thank you for following us, and invite you to visit one of these fun events.  Always a variety of things to see and do.  Bay and Crosby both offer a stellar lineup of artists.  And you know me… i will be reporting back with the outcome.
