The Log Cabin Gallery “At Water’s Edge” continues thru 7/26
The Log Cabin Gallery is freshened up, and reloaded with the artistic work of over 20 people, with everything from Diane Seskes’s stunning photography to the beautiful quilted pieces done by her mom. Pottery, Ceramics, hand carved bird and fish decoys, Stained Glass, Blown Glass…. and ofcourse our soap. We dropped our work off to her several weeks ago, and had the opportunity to preview the show. It is a well curated display that will delight your senses.
Steve produced an exclusive line of soap for the Log Cabin – featuring amazing combinations like Lavender and Lemon. or a rich Cedarwood scented bar. All of these specific labeled soaps will only be available at the Log Cabin, and our regular line will soon be available at Diane’s new full time shop, located at the street next door to the Log Cabin in the building that is formerly known as the “Blue Eye Dog Gallery”.
And here is the display of my cocoon earrings. I am so happy Diane gave me a full case for this work. It seems to be the perfect size, and I brought a sufficient supply for the case. I only wish i would have done an explanation of silk worms forming their cocoons, and the process of preparing and dying them… Perhaps the next time.
This exhibit runs through July 26th, and I will be at the cabin on Saturday for my work day. Stop out if you can
