Artist

If there was a biography about you, what would the title be?

This year has been so far and adventure that has led me to a deep dive of my life. It’s been over six months since I retired from the day job and I realize that unfortunate because I have so many other interest that did not hide my identity and function to that day job. Perhaps at the core my thoughts boiled down to how would I defined myself. Do you think like me or am I just a little bit different? What do you call yourself?

A few f the scarves I have dyed or painted.

As far back as I can remember, I have loved to do creative thing, and while my mother would not have been happy with me at five years old, leaving heaps of paper scraps on the living room floor, there was a creative process that was being birth to me that I would now call Artist. All the many hats and identities I’ve worn in my life to this point the one that has remained constant has been Artist.

So why do I choose to be an artist?

  • Expressing my creativity, a mental and psychological relief from the pressures of life.
  • There is great freedom with color, medium and form.
  • I love when people resonate with my work. Bringing beauty to someone else’s eyes and a pleasure.
  • At the heart of the matter, I believe that the world has been gifted with her who make life more beautiful, and more livable

So for today I call myself Artist and I choose to spend time at my work to call my own soul to peace, and bringing beauty to the world. What do you call yourself and what’s your Mission
