St Thomas Tea

We are returning to St Thomas Church in Berea for the Victorian Tea and Artist market on Saturday, January 28th from 10a to 3pm.  The tea itself is by ticket only, purchased through the church in advance.  The tea is a beautifully appointed event, with the women of the church bringing their most lovely china, vintage and novelty tea pots, and wearing their finest victorian outfits, hats, gloves, jewelry.  Its a step back in time when you are escorted to the table by a fellow in a tux, and top hat… and the gentle strains of a harpist sooth and entertain.  The food arrives… beautiful tea sandwiches, scones, fruit, and devonshire cream.  They hold the tea in 2 settings, and before and between the tea is our little art market.  Its alot of fun.
