Artcraft Open Studio Show is upon us
There is a buzz growing in the building at ArtCraft… busy last minute details setting up our studio for guests, and we hope you will be joining us there. This May Show includes the 8 studio artists in our area on 6, along with 35 invited artists in the large space on our floor. Other selected studios in the building will be open and welcoming visitors. Shown above are the works of a number of the artists, including Randy Maxin (bicyclist composition), Ikuko Michalski (delicate Japanese style pottery), Painting by Nancy Luken, Ceramic boxes by Mark Yasenchack, Hollyhocks by the Sea Painting by Irwin Weinberger. There is so much more to discover…. just on the 6th floor. And we will have Steve’s pulled pork on wood fired slider buns, along with other goodies for enjoyment. We are here from 11a to 6p on saturday….
One of the stops (in addition to the 6th floor) i would recommend is a visit to the Cleveland Print Room on the 1st floor. They are exhibiting the work of Blessing Ngobeni. Blessing took up residence in one of our studio spaces for several months, and is a visiting artist from South Africa. He has a very interesting Picasso influenced work style, always with a social justice, social consciousness message.
